The high points soared on cinematic pinions - but the low points dribbled celluloid in our popcorn. Last year's movies included many a wonder even if the recently announced HK Film Awards don't reflect that (at least Sammi Cheng isn't up for three awards in the same category). But at some of the hopefuls we had to just shake our heads and others came out with such a disease it would have been mercy to shred their lives before they were ever born into the projection room. The Golden Durians, now in their third year, pay homage to the addled, muddled and befuddled.
